Sasa was a stray hanging around a gas station by a local highway entrance. The rescuer took her dog on a trip and saw Sasa at this gas station. One of the staff told the rescuer that she was abandoned here about 2 months prior. The surveillance camera captured the moment she was abandoned by her owner. Sasa was taken to a local public shelter to be spayed. After the procedure, she got her right ear clipped as a marking for the TNR program (Trap, Neuter/Spay & Release), and was returned to the spot where she was first abandoned by the gas station.

When the rescuer approached her by kneeling down close to her, Sasa went to seek affection without any reservation. After hearing the gas station attendants talk about Sasa’s sad journey to this location, she truly felt for Sasa, and decided to take Sasa with her. She said to Sasa, let’s go, and Sasa immediately jumped in the car with enthusiasm.

The first thing the rescuer did was to take this lovely girl for a vet check-up. Her blood work showed that she is a healthy and young girl (full of confidence despite her terrible experience of being abandoned). Sasa blended in without issues at the rescuer’s home, as she has remembered her previous life with a home. She got along with the rescuer’s cat and dog.

Sasa is very outgoing and confident! She also trusts people 100%! Regardless of any visitors to the house or strangers on the walk, she’s always been super friendly and embraced everyone. Sasa is very food motivated but waits patiently for her turn during feeding or snack time. Sasa only does her business outside as she’s house-trained. She loves squeaky toys and also any kind of balls. Surprisingly, Sasa is very quiet and steady inside. She has not shown any tendency to make a mess or damage furniture! She loves the outdoors and hanging out with her foster family outside.

Overall, Sasa is a very balanced dog. Quiet inside and active outside – knows her boundaries. She loves to seek affection from people, gets along with everyone – humans and dogs. This angelic girl deserves a second chance in life and a loving forever home. Please consider adopting this wonderful girl!
