Mei and her sister, Lilli, were abandoned near a big open sewage drain under the highway when they were about 3-month old. They were bone skinny, starving, and mostly, petrified when they were spotted. They would have either died or got hurt if they hadn’t been rescued. We couldn’t see this happen, so we took them in and hoped the two girls find the best homes.

Mei is an amazing and sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be loved! She’s shy, so she needs slow intros with new people and will need some time to warm up in a new environment. She enjoys being around her humans and gets along well with children and other dogs. She grows up with her sibling and loves to show her virtues of patience and sharing. So, when she’s with a group of dogs, she’s always the one behind, waiting patiently and humbly for her turn to get her treats. Mei loves going for walks, begging for belly rubs and playing with toys and her dog pals. Her great passion for snacks makes her easy to train. Mei’s crate-trained and housebroken, potty trained both on pee pads and outside. Little Mei is now looking for a loving home and for a chance to fill your life with much love and joy!
