A rescuer recently went to visit some friends and noticed a dog mom scavenging for food (who just gave birth). The rescuer saw this scene as something quite worrisome!! The rescuer followed the dog mom and saw 7 puppies right next to a busy roadway and were in imminent danger. The rescuer took a closer look at the pups and saw one of them had already passed away. The 6 remaining puppies were starving and ran to the rescuer asking for food. The rescuer knew that the mom was having a very hard time keeping all her pups and herself alive, and if the rescuer did not save them right away, they probably would not survive. With a box, the rescuer took all the puppies and put them in the car. However, because the dog mom was very scared and anxious, it took over an hour for her to get in the car. (The dog mom is currently staying at a private dog shelter as she is still not ready for adoption due to her anxiety and fear of people. She is safe and cared for).

The 6 puppies have been staying at different foster families. They LOVE being with people and are all absolute sweethearts. They especially loved being snuggled and have melted the hearts of their foster families.

If you are interested in these sweet furry pups, please consider the following:
1- Are you ready to have a dog in your everyday life? That you have the space, time and budget as dogs tend to have health issues as they get older.
2- Fanny is house trained and she likes do her business outside., a house with a fenced yard would be ideal.
3- Will you be able to get them properly exercised by taking them for daily walks and outdoor activities/games?
4- They are puppies and even though they are really good dogs, they will need patience, continued training lessons in order to be a balanced dog.

Feel free to email with us! We are more than happy to share her daily routine, personality and habits. She is waiting patiently for her forever home!
