Diego was abandoned in a small village in Changhua and wandered in that area for several months. The rescuer has seen it as early as September 2019. At that time, Diego was about 9 months old, wearing a blue collar around his neck, playing with other dogs on the street. The rescuer thought he was a domestic dog and not a stray dog.
Until March 2020, Diego appeared again. Its collar was changed to red. Unfortunately, it was not a new collar but a collar stained with blood. He has grown into an adult dog. The collar was too tight for him and it slowly started to cut through the skin. It eventually created a circular wound around her neck. If not rescued, he might die due to wound infection. The rescuer realized that Diego was a stray dog. He was abandoned for a long time.
The rescuer took it to the vet. Besides providing basic veterinary care, rescuer treated the wound to clear the infection. After two weeks of care, its wound healed. Diego was also vaccinated and passed the blood test. Then the cute, fixed up boy went to a foster home. Homemom said he is so nice with children and other dogs. His personality is very gentle. He is not food aggressive. He respects his dog companions very much. Also, he particularly likes puppies and often plays with them. He is looking for a forever home.
