Betty’s rescue story
Little Betty was rescued from the Matsu Islands, located off the west coast of Taiwan. She was treasured by her first adopter for the first couple of weeks, but soon after her puppy teething started, she was banned from entering the house. Poor Betty was tied to a garden table outside all day long without any doggy bed or anything to keep warm. She was underfed, and oftentimes, she had to drink ditch water just to stay alive. Her only companions were the notorious biting winds and heavy rain of Matsu. One day, when her irresponsible owner was touring around Taiwan, hungry and helpless Betty escaped from the place. Luckily, she was spotted by a local volunteer. The rescuer knew about Betty’s miserable story and decided to take her in and ship her over to Taiwan for future training and medical check-ups. Now little and super confident Betty is all set to find her own home and gets all the love and care she deserves.

Meet Betty
Betty is a sweet and playful puppy. She is always ready to greet people of all ages with her happy puppy wiggles. She enjoys wrestling with her dog pals, staying by her human’s side and getting tummy rubs. She also has great passion for treats. Betty might be a little chewer when she’s bored, so make sure she has something to do at home or simply tell her “No” and she will listen. She’s a social butterfly, so she doesn’t really need time to warm up in a new environment. Betty is very tiny but it’s impossible to not notice her in the group as she always runs around to her heart’s content to draw her human’s attention. She is crate-trained and housebroken, potty trained both on pee pads and outside. Little Betty is now looking for a loving home and for a chance to shower you with much love and joy!
