While “international adoption” might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step!
The Journey Home
Once your application is approved, the final step of Echo journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking her up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include:
East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH, etc,.
West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX, YVR, etc,.

Meet Echo
When Echo was first found, she was covered in dirt, yet she approached every stranger as if she were searching for a familiar face. The rescuers estimated that this sweet girl had been abandoned on the streets. Because she is incredibly friendly and affectionate towards people, the rescuers couldn’t bear to imagine how such a loving dog could survive on her own, so they didn’t hesitate for a second to bring her home and begin her foster and adoption journey.
House Training & Routine
Echo is fully house-trained and prefers not to relieve herself indoors; she will hold it until her family takes her out. Therefore, if you live in an apartment, it is essential that you have the time to take her on walks (at least 3 times a day).

Personality & Socialization
Echo adapts very quickly to unfamiliar environments. She opens her heart to strangers immediately and has immense trust in humans. She is great with children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She currently lives with several dog friends in her foster home and has shown absolutely no food aggression or resource guarding.
Echo is highly food-motivated, which makes training her with treats incredibly fast and effective! Her personality can be described as outgoing and confident. She also loves going on car rides and adventures. Although she is 3 years old, she is still energetic and full of life! She also walks beautifully on a leash.

Special Notes
Echo is afraid of loud noises like firecrackers and fireworks. They make her very nervous, and her instinct is to run away, so she needs a safe space to retreat to. We highly recommend continuing her crate training so she can have a familiar, secure spot to comfort her during holidays with fireworks. (During festive seasons with fireworks, we strongly advise keeping her on-leash at all times during walks, even if she has already built a deep bond of trust with you. We also recommend keeping walks short during these times.)
