Personality:

Coby is slightly shy and timid. He gets scared of strangers and doesn’t approach them first. After a moment, he opens his mind and adjusts quickly. He asks for a belly rub, soon. He is not so interested in other dogs but gets along with them well.

During mealtime, he guards his food bowl from other dogs. We recommend feeding him separately from other dogs. He can wait for his turn during treat time.

Children:

Not experienced with children. We expect Coby would get scared if the children yell and touch him abruptly.

Not experienced with cats.

Car:

Doesn’t get carsick. He stays well in the car.

Potty training:

Both indoor and outdoor potty trained. Coby prefers to go outside for potty. He sometimes makes a mistake by peeing near the edge.

Barking/Whining:

Coby has not been completely alone but when he follows his foster’s dog for barking, he stops soon. He is good with crate training and can wait in his crate for 2-3 hours so far.

Food bowl guarding. He protects his food from other dogs.

He’s not so interested in toys. He may chew on tissues and paper.

Leash:

He is good on leash but sometimes he pulls the leash from his curiosity. He is very excited.

Other:

So far he has been calm, gentle, and nice. He doesn’t bark much and is good at playing with little puppies. Overall, Coby is a fairly “easy” dog.
